Ingredients

• Absinthe10 ml
• Gin70 ml
• Blanc vermouth15 ml
• Maraschino liqueur10 ml
• Orange bitters4 dashes
• Ice

Method

1. Swirl the absinthe inside a coupe or martini glass to coat it, then discard the excess.
2. Put the gin, the blanc vermouth, the maraschino and the dashes of orange bitters in a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
3. Stir about 30 seconds.
4. Strain into the prepared glass.
5. Finish with the lemon or orange twist, and the cocktail cherry, if desired.
