Tuxedo
Ingredients
- Old Tom gin30 ml
- Dry vermouth30 ml
- Maraschino liqueur, 1/2 bar spoon2.5 ml
- Absinthe, 1/4 bar spoon1.25 ml
- Orange bitters3 dashes
- Ice
Garnish
Cherry and lemon peel twist

Method
- Stir everything in a mixing glass with ice.
- Strain into the chilled glass.
- Finish with the cherry and the twisted lemon peel.
About
It's a dressed up cousin of the martini: Old Tom gin and dry vermouth as the base, with a touch of maraschino and a splash of absinthe on top. The small measures are the point: too much absinthe takes over the glass.
