Hemingway Special
Ingredients
- White rum60 ml
- Grapefruit juice40 ml
- Maraschino liqueur15 ml
- Lime juice15 ml
- Ice

Method
- Shake the rum, the grapefruit, the maraschino and the lime with ice.
- Strain into the chilled glass.
About
This is the daiquiri the way Hemingway ordered it at the Floridita in Havana: no sugar at all, double rum, and grapefruit bitterness where the sweetness would be. It comes out bone dry, and it's not for everyone.
