Guillotine
Ingredients
- Mezcal30 ml
- Blended Scotch22.5 ml
- Banana liqueur7.5 ml
- , 1:1 by volume, equal parts honey and water7.5 ml
- Ice
- Large ice cube

Method
- Add the mezcal, blended Scotch, banana liqueur and honey syrup to a mixing glass.
- Fill with ice and stir until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass over one large ice cube.
- Express a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then discard the peel.
About
Mezcal and Scotch share the base, with banana and honey softening the smoke. This presentation uses a rocks glass and one large cube; the source serves it in a snifter over two cubes.
