Bensonhurst
Ingredients
- Rye whiskey60 ml
- Dry vermouth30 ml
- Maraschino liqueur, 2 bar spoons10 ml
- Cynar, 1 bar spoon5 ml
- Ice
Garnish
Orange peel twist
Flavor
Bitter, Herbal
Method
- Stir everything in a mixing glass with ice until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Express the orange peel over the top.
About
A cousin of the Brooklyn, with Cynar standing in for the hard-to-find Amer Picon. It's named after an Italian-American neighborhood in Brooklyn, hence the Italian amaro.
